Tripura News: CM lauds role of employees, ASHA etc in providing civic services

Vivekananda Bichar Manch organized a thanksgiving programme in Agartala appreciating Tripura Government’s several initiatives for the benefit of government employees. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended the programme.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister hailed the role of the employees in delivering the civic services to people. He also lauded the efforts of the ASHA and other primary level workers in providing the civic services.

 

Deb said, “Government welfare services reach to the last person of a society through the government employees. The government of Tripura is considering different issues related to the interests of the employees including the issue of DA in a positive manner keeping in mind the financial consistency”.

The Chief Minister also recognized the roles of the primary level workers and commented, “Asha, Anganwadi workers and other primary level workers are the core people in ensuring delivery of civic services. They are creators of the future generation of good citizens”.  

 

Detailing the steps taken for the interests of employees, Deb mentioned about payment of 3 percent DA amidst Covid pandemic to Group C and Group D employees, Home guards, Science Teachers, Teachers of Samagra Shiksha, Ad Hoc Promotion etc.

 

He also highlighted Government’s decision to pay same salary to the family member of the deceased employee above 50 years till the age of his retirement. Besides, Deb also underlined government’s other initiatives like bringing transparency in recruitment, increase in the amount of Puja Advance, providing Seventh Pay Scale and UGC scale for professors.
