Tripura News: National Lok Adalat held across State
The National Lok Adalat was held across the State on Saturday for which 57 Courts were constituted. Member secretary of TSLSA, S Bhattacharjee said today.
The Lok Adalat was held for various types of cases like MACT Appeal, MACT Cases, Matrimonial cases, NI Act cases Civil Cases and Criminal compoundable cases and pre-litigation bank loan recovery cases etc.
A total of 2711 cases were taken up today out of which 1845 cases were pre-litigation and 866 were pending cases. A total of 565 cases were disposed of. Among these cases, the number of pre-litigation cases was 458 and 107 were Pending cases.
The total settlement amount stands at Rs 3,07,88, 962.
