Tripura News: Rejig in State Administration, three districts get new DMs
In a major administrative reshuffle, the State government transferred seven IAS officers including three District Magistrates, one IPS and seven TCS officers on Monday. As many as three District Magistrates in three districts including the West District have been transferred.
As per the transfer order, Debapriya Bardhan (IAS), the incumbent District Magistrate and Collector, Gomati, has been transferred and posted as DM West Tripura. He will also hold the charge of Commissioner, Tripura Urban Development Authority, CEO & MD, Agartala Smart City Ltd, CEO Tripura Jal Board, in addition. Raval Hamendra Kumar (IAS), the incumbent DM West, has been transferred to Gomati district.
Tapas Roy (IAS), the incumbent DM Unakoti district has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Minorities and OBC Welfare department while U.K. Chakma (TCS SSG), the incumbent Director of Education (Secondary) and Director of SCERT and SPD, SSA in addition, has been made District Magistrate, Unakoti.
Mohd. Zubair Ali Hashmi (IAS), the Addl. Secretary (Coordination), officer of the Chief Secretary with additional charge of Secretary, Tripura Human Rights Commission, has been relived from the charge of Addl. Secretary (Coordination).
Satyajit Sarkar (IAS), the Director of Audit department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Audit under Finance department. He will report to the Principal Secretary, Finance.
Princee Rani (IPS), the incumbent Director of Social Welfare and Social Education department, has been transferred and posted as DIGP (HQ). She will also look after the charge of DIGP (Crime Branch) in addition.
Chandni Chandran (IAS), SDM Kanchanpur, has now been transferred as Director of Higher Education (Secondary); Director of SCRET and SPD, SSA in addition.
Tarit Kanti Chakma (IAS), SDM Sabroom with additional charge of Executive Officer, Sabroom Nagar Panchayat, has been transferred and posted as Director of Industries and Commerce. He will also hold the additional charge of MD, TIDC Ltd., Tripura Bamboo Mission, Director of Tourism and MD of TTDC.
Tamal Majumder (TCS SSG), ADM (Priority Project), Sepahljala, has been transferred and posted as Director SW & SE department while Sanjoy Chakraborty (TCS SSG ), ADM (Priority Project) North, has now been transferred and posted as Director of Skill Development.
N. C. Sharma (TCS SSG), Addl. Secretary, 0/0 the Chief Secretary, Tripura. Director, Education (Elementary) & Director, Higher Education, in addition, has been relieved from the charge of Addl. Secretary, 0/0 the Chief Secretary, Tripura.
Subhash Acharjee (TCS Gr-II), Deputy Director, Panchayat & OSD, 0/o the State Election Commission, has been transferred and posted as SDM Kanchanpur.
Debdas Debbarma (TCS Gr-II) has been transferred and posted as Addl. SDM Sabroom and STO Sabroom, has now been posted as SDM Sabroom.
Amitabha Chakma (TCS Gr-II), Under Secretary, Revenue Deptt and OSD to Honible Minister, ARDD and SW & SE; in addition, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Sabroom. He will also hold the charge of STO, Sabroom, in addition.
The order also included Swapna Debnath, Additional Director, Industries & Commerce, Tripura with additional charge of Director, industries & Commerce, Tripura; Managing Director, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC), Mission Director, Tripura Bamboo Mission and Director of Skill Development, has been relieved from the additional charge of Director, industries & Commerce, Tripura; Managing Director, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) Ltd.; Mission Director, Tripura Bamboo Mission and Director Skill Development, Tripura, Agartala.
