Tripura News: Teliamura man Sets Example with Honest Act of Returning Lost Money

A young employee of the Agriculture Department in Teliamura of Tripura set an example of honesty by returning a lost handbag full of money to its rightful owner. The incident has garnered widespread praise from the community.

Khelarani Ghosh, a resident of Kalyanpur, visited the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office for some personal work on Friday. After finishing her work at the office, she had lunch at a hotel in Chakmaghat. On her way back home, she somehow lost her handbag containing a significant amount of money.

Later, Bishwajit Das, an employee of the Agriculture Department in Teliamura, found the handbag full of money while walking in the Chakmaghat area. Driven by his sense of honesty, he decided to return the bag and sought the help of the Teliamura Police Station.

Meanwhile, news of the lost and found bag spread widely on social media. Upon learning about the bag, Khelarani Ghosh was overjoyed to find her lost money.

On Saturday night, Ghosh retrieved her handbag full of money from the Teliamura Police Station after providing proper identification. The bag contained a total of Rs 13,510.

Ghosh expressed her gratitude to Bishwajit Das, the honest young man from the Agriculture Department, for returning her lost money. This incident, where a lost handbag full of money was found and returned to its rightful owner, has been met with positive reactions across Teliamura.
