Tripura: Recruitment of TET qualified aspirants likely before Durga Puja

TET-Tripura-RecruitmentThe state government has taken steps to recruit the aspirants who have qualified Teachers’ Eligibility Test last year.

 

A delegation of the TET qualified candidates met Education minister Ratanlal Nath on Saturday demanding recruitment.

 

A representative of the TET qualified candidates informed the media on Sunday that the Education minister made a commitment regarding recruitment before the Durga Puja.

 

“The Education minister made a sort of commitment that all the TET qualified candidates will be recruited together once the proposal is approved by the Finance department,” an aspirant said.

 

enewstime-TET-Tripura-RecruitmentHe also said, a delegation of the TET qualified candidates met Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, who also holds the portfolio of finance, based on the assurance from the Education minister.

 

The Deputy Chief Minister also assured that he would take all necessary steps for the recruitment, the aspirant told the media.

 

Speaking to the media after the meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, the aspirant said, if the recruitment takes place, it would help solve the teachers’ shortage issue in various schools.

 

An official source said, the Education department already processed files for recruitment of 1200 teachers in two batches (600+ 600); it is now pending for approval from the Finance department.
