Union Home Minister Amit Shah arriving in Agartala on Mar 8

Amit-Shah-Tripura-MatabariUnion Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Agartala on Tuesday (March 8) in a one day visit. The State Government as well as the ruling BJP has no stone unturned in making the preparations fine tuned.

“Tripura, the land of Mata Tripureswari, is ready to give a rousing welcome to Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji”, BJP party leaders said.

According government sources, Shah will arrive in Agartala MBB Airport at around 11am and then he will fly to Udaipur Matabari where he will unveil PRASAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive) at the temple complex.

Shah will inaugurate the ‘Darshan Dwar’ of Maa Tripureswari Temple and also offer puja and prayers.

He will also inaugurate the makeshift campus of Academic Courses of the National Forensic Sciences University at Old B.Ed College Complex in Agartala. Besides, the Union Home Minister will lay foundation stone by conducting Bhumipujan of the Tripura Campus of the National Forensic Sciences University at Anandanagar near Agartala.

Amit Shah will address a public rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala marking the completion of four years of BJP-UPFT government in Tripura.

An elaborate security arrangement has been prepared in view of Union Home Minister's visit to the state on Tuesday to mark four years completion of the BJP-IPFT government.

 

Both sides of the road from Airport to Swami Vivekananda Maidan have been decorated with flags, festoons as well as banners highlighting major achievements of the BJP-IPFT government.

 

Both the state government and the ruling party leaders and activists worked hard to make the visit of Union Minister and public rally successful. The rally is expected to draw a huge gathering.
