December 29,2017: In Mumbai, at least 14 people were killed including ten women and about 20 injured in a massive fire in Kamala Mills Compound in Lower Parel locality.
BMC Control room has confirmed that the fire broke out after midnight in a pub on the third floor of the building on Senapati Bapat Road in Central Mumbai. The building houses commercial establishments including hotels.
The injured have been admitted to KEM, Bhatia and Airoli hospitals. Six fire tenders were rushed into service. AIR correspondent reports that according to fire Control department, the fire is now under control. (AIR NEWS)
