February 28, 2018: In Madhya Pradesh, Congress has won the by-poll in Mungawali Assembly constituency, with its candidate Brijendra Singh defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Baisahab Yadav by a margin of 2124 votes.
In Kolaras, Congress candidate Mahendra Singh Yadav is leading by 4000 votes after the 16th round. The By-polls were held on 24th February. By-elections were necessitated due to death of Congress legislators. (AIR News)
