August 24, 2018: A hard core Maoist, having a reward of 47 lakh rupees on his head, has surrendered in Chhattisgarh. Maoist named Pahad Singh surrendered before Inspector General of Police (Drug Range) GP Singh.

Police said, the Maoist was active since 1999 and was wanted by the police of three states – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, police arrested three Maoists from the Kutru area of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh during a search operation. (AIR News)
