July 22, 2018: In Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists, who were behind the abduction and killing of a police constable, Mohammad Saleem were killed today in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam district.
Constable Saleem Shah was abducted by terrorists from his residence in Mutalhama area of Kulgam in south Kashmir on Friday and his body, bearing severe torture marks, was recovered yesterday.
The encounter began this morning as security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Khudwani after receiving specific intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the area.
In another development, Pakistani intruder was gunned down at International Border in Bobiya in Hiranagar City early morning today when he was trying to enter Indian territory. (DD News)
