April 28, 2018: In Uttar Pradesh, twelve people were killed and six severely injured when a van rammed into a stationary truck in Lakhimpur Kheri today. The incident took place on the National Highway 24 in Uchauliya under the jurisdiction of Pasgawan police station.

The van was carrying 16 passengers. The driver and the helper of the van are among those killed. The police said, over-speeding could be the reason behind the accident. (AIR News)
