Normal life disrupts in Darjeeling following indefinite bandh called by GJM

June 12,2017:   Normal life disrupted in Darjeeling following the indefinite bandh from this morning. The calls for the bandh is given by Gorkha Janamukti morcha in support of the demand for a separate Gorkha land and also against the state government language policy.

AIR correspondent reports the State administration have taken adequate measures to maintain law and order as huge deployment of security forces is all over in the Darjeeling hills. Meanwhile, the opposition party including BJP, CPIM have criticised Trinamool Congress government policy about hills.     (AIR NEWS)
