Arunachal to host Film Northeast-2016

Agartala, Dec 28: Arunachal Pradesh will host ‘Film Northeast-2016,’ a film festival of the region from February 17 to 20 next year in Itanagar to promote understanding and appreciation of the diversity of cinema in the Northeast. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today announced it during a press conference.

Mentioning that there was no deficit of talents in the state, Tuki said his government was thinking to frame policy guidelines soon in this regard. IPR Parliamentary Secretary Bamang Felix said that the objective is to showcase the culture, tradition and hospitality.
