Manchester, Aug 20 Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey has been named the PFA Women’s Player of the Year for 2024/25 at the Manchester Opera House, following an outstanding debut season in north London, which impressed her fellow professionals who voted her as the winner.

Mariona becomes the third Gunner to win the award deemed to be the most prestigious individual accolade in the domestic game, after Kim Little in 2011/12, and Vivianne Miedema in 2018/19.
