Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday asserted that the Communists would not come back to power in the State again as they would never change their habits.

“Communists exploited the people of Tripura the most. Telling lies and delivering fake promises are their original face. They never change their habit and that’s why the public of the state will never vote them to power again,” Deb told an election rally at his constituency- Banamalipur.

In a whirlwind election campaign on Friday, Deb came down heavily on the Communists as well as fired verbal salvos at Trinamool Congress. He exuded confidence that people would exercise their democratic rights in favour of the holistic development initiatives of the incumbent government.

CM-Unakoti-Tripura-Civic-PollsBuoyed at the response of people, Deb urged people to vote for the BJP candidates in the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) polls and other Civic Body polls,

Referring to Trinamool Congress, Deb said that the party whose leaders are involved in Sarada-Narada scams is just entertaining the people. The people of Banamalipur are well-educated and politically conscious; they wouldn’t vote for them (TMC), he added.

“The politics of communal hatred will not be accepted by the people of Tripura since it has turned into the land of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Deb told the gathering.

Meanwhile, he acknowledged the noticeable presence of women in his election rallies at various places- Camper Bazar, Kumarghat and Banamalipur and said, “when Matri Shakti is with you, it indicates that you are on the right track.”

Deb is spearheading a spirited campaigning in support of the BJP-nominated candidates across the politically-charged Tripura. He also addressed a public gathering in support of BJP candidates at Kumarghat in Unakoti district.

Apart from blasting against the Opposition, Deb also highlighted the achievement of the incumbent Government. He said, the government has ensured safety of women of the State as well as worked for empowering the women.

He exuded confidence that the developmental activities would be further accelerated through people’s votes in favour of ongoing development of the Government.
