The Government of Tripura is tirelessly working to rural as well as urban households under the ambit of drinking water supply facilities. The Government is working with transparency assigning priority on citizen’s rights. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said after inaugurating the renovated the Kail Dighi Temple in Dharmanagar under the North Tripura District on Friday.

 

Among others, Deputy Speaker of Tripura Assembly Biswabandhu Sen, Sabhadhipati of North District Zilla Parishad Bhabatosh Das and wife of the Chief Minister and eminent Social activist Niti Deb were present in the inaugural programme.

 

Biplab Kumar Deb along with his wife prayed at the Kali Temple adjacent to the Dighi today. Later, he attended a cultural programme in which 1200 child artists and students participated.

 

Later speaking at the inaugural programme, Deb said, the Government is maintaining transparency in every aspect – from providing the civic services to recruitment. He pointed out, the self-reliant mindset of citizens play pivotal role in building a self-reliant State. “The self-reliant mentality of the youths of the State is creating job opportunities as well as many of the youths are emerging as job creators”, Deb said.

 

He further said, the government is functioning rising above the narrowness of one’s political affiliation. With the help of the Central government, the State government is working to ensure drinking water supply to rural people as well as urban people.

 

Referring to improvement in education sector in the State, he exuded confidence that students of this part of the State will script path of success in competitive exams like UPSC etc.

 

He also highlighted success of Government’s plan to decentralize the medical facilities.
