February 04, 2018: Tripura under LF regime set up unique model of development in the country, asserted Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today while addressing two election rallies at Karamchhera and Chaumanu in Dhalai District.
The hallmark of today’s meetings was spontaneous adulation the Chief Minister received from local tribal and non-tribal people. Local people gathered around the Chief Minister and wished him victory.
“As there was no security personnel, we could approach to the CM and wished him success”, said an septuagenarian tribal lady.
“In comparison with other States, Tripura has attained development and LF Government has successfully established an alternative growth model where common people’s priority was respected. It is ‘People First’ model and in this model we are trying to fulfil aspirations and requirements of common people”, he said.
Focusing upon outlook of the LF Government, Manik Sarkar mentioned about gradual success in literacy, reducing Infant Mortality below the national average, attaining universal immunization target – these are basic parameters and pre-requisite for sustainable development, he asserted.
Saying that some people are unable to digest Tripura’s success in uplifting downtrodden ruralflok, Sarkar said, vested interest groups re spreading malicious campaign against LF Government. Urging people not to fall in the trap of such campaign, he seek people’s support for victory for LF candidates.
