February 03, 2018: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reached Poll bound Tripura in a two-day poll-tour and addressed an election rally at Barjala near Agartala in support of a BJP candidate . Urging people to vote for BJP candidates, Rajnath Singh said, “You have given scope to the Left parties in Tripura many times, give scope to BJP once this time to rule for genuine development of the state with all-round growth of all sections of people”. He asserted that Tripura could become one of the most developed States because of its abundant natural resources.
Saying that it would not be possible to provide job to everyone, the Union Minister assured that people of Tripura would be able to lead a decent life. “We will take proper initiatives so that everyone gets chance to spend life in a decent manner”, he said.
Breathing fire against Pakistan, Rajnath Singh said, India will reply with countless bullets for every Pakistani bullet. Flaying Pakistan, he also reiterated that nothing can separate Kashmir from India. India wanted a smooth relation with its neighbour including Pakistan – however, if India comes under repeated attacks, Government cannot remain a mute spectator, he asserted.
“I have given standing orders to our forces to shoot limitless bullets to retaliate a single fire on our territory by the Pakistani forces. As our neighbour, we do not want to attack on Pakistan first. We want to live with peace and harmony with our all neighbours. But, most unfortunately Pakistan is trying to tear down Jammu and Kashmir and continue attacks on our forces and Indian territory,” he added.
Harping praises on BJP-led Central Government, Rajnath Singh said, UPA Government was involved in corruption – but the BJP Government under Modi’s visionary leadership is fighting against corruption. “Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh failed in curbing corruption, however, BJP Government has prevailed over corruption and ensuring growth of the country. He also highlighted several initiatives of Modi Government to ensure growth and prosperity. He specially mentioned about the health insurance scheme which was proposed in recent Union Budget.
