October 02, 2017: In the United States, at least 20 people dead and more than 100 injured in a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert. Police said a gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel toward an open-air music festival being held close by. Police said a suspect identified as a local resident had been shot and killed by officers. They said they were looking for a companion travelling with the suspect as a person of interest.

Police have also advised people to avoid the area. The shooting occured at about 22:30 local time. Authorities have shutdown some places of the Las Vegas Strip. Flights in and out of the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas have been temporarily halted because of the incident. (AIR News)
