October 07, 2017: In Bihar Income tax department has provisionally attached three plots of Former Chief Minister Rabari Devi and her daughter Hema Yadav in Patna in a benami deal and tax evasion case.
These plots are located in Danapur and Phulwarisharif locality of Patna district.Income tax department has informed local registry office in this regard.After attachment, they could not sell plots.Rabari Devi and her daughter got three plots from two persons as gift.Rabari Devi got 2.5 decimal plot from Lalan Chaudhary who was working at residence of Lalu Prasad.
Lalan Chaudhary had also donated a plot of 7.5 decimal plot to Hema Yadav, daughter of Rabari Devi.Similarily one Hridyanand Chaudhury also donated 7.5 decimal plot as a gift to Hema Yadav. Income Tax department had already interrogated Lalan Chaudhary and Hridyanand Chaudhary about gifts. (AIR News)
