ProMASS News Bureau: Aug 17, 2016: Gold gained 55 rupees, to 31,130 rupees per ten grams at Delhi’s bullion market, today, on increased buying by jewelers, amid a firm trend overseas. Silver jumped 500 rupees, to 47,000 rupees per kilo, on increased offtake from coin makers and other consuming industries. Silver coins remained flat, at 75,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces. Overseas, gold rose 0.6 per cent, to 1,347 dollars an ounce. Silver also gained 0.6 per cent, to 19 dollars 85 cents an ounce.
