TSECL Conducts Recruitment Examination in Two Shifts

Agartala: Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited organized the written examination for recruitment to Manager posts for degree and diploma holders on Sunday. The examination process covered vacancies in the Electrical and Mechanical wings under both Grade-A and Grade-B categories.

Officials said the recruitment drive witnessed a significant response from job aspirants across Tripura. The corporation conducted the examination in two separate shifts to ensure proper monitoring, crowd management and smooth execution at all centres.

According to official records, 2,555 candidates registered for the examination. Among them, 2,166 candidates appeared while 389 remained absent.

The authorities maintained strict administrative measures and deployed monitoring teams to ensure a disciplined environment throughout the examination process.

First Shift Witnesses High Participation

The first phase of the examination took place between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. During this session, candidates appeared for Manager (Electrical), Grade-A and Manager (Mechanical), Grade-B posts.

A total of 1,275 candidates were scheduled for the first shift examination. Out of them, 1,085 candidates attended while 190 remained absent.

For the Manager (Electrical), Grade-A post, the corporation received applications from 1,162 candidates. Among them, 997 candidates appeared for the written examination while 165 candidates did not attend.

Similarly, the Manager (Mechanical), Grade-B examination recorded participation from 88 candidates out of 113 applicants. The remaining 25 candidates stayed absent.

The second session of the recruitment examination was conducted from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This shift covered the written tests for Manager (Mechanical), Grade-A and Manager (Electrical), Grade-B posts.

In this phase, 1,280 candidates were scheduled to appear. Out of them, 1,081 attended the examination while 199 candidates remained absent.

Official data revealed that 353 candidates had applied for the Manager (Mechanical), Grade-A post. Among them, 252 candidates appeared while 101 stayed absent.

Meanwhile, the Manager (Electrical), Grade-B post attracted 927 applicants. Out of them, 829 candidates attended the examination and 98 candidates remained absent.
