Agartala: Tripura Pradesh BJP President Abhishek Debroy highlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government during the State Level Jana Kalyan Shibir programme held at R.S. Bhawan on Sunday.
Addressing party workers and supporters, Debroy said the 12-year journey of the Modi government includes several major decisions and development initiatives. He said explaining the entire period would take much longer than 12 days because of the scale of work undertaken across different sectors.
Debroy said being part of this phase of national development is a matter of pride for BJP workers. He added that future generations would remember that their families contributed during the period when Narendra Modi served as the Prime Minister of India.
Focus on public welfare and inclusive development
Debroy said the leadership approach of Prime Minister Modi is based on trust, confidence, development and public welfare. He stated that studying the government’s initiatives provides lessons about governance and policy implementation.
According to Debroy, previous governments often discussed the need to support weaker sections, but he claimed that the present government has taken stronger steps for marginalised communities.
He highlighted the contribution of B. R. Ambedkar and said the government has worked to spread awareness about his ideas and the Constitution among people at the grassroots level.
