The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has postponed two written recruitment examinations scheduled for September 6, 2026. The decision affects candidates applying for Food Safety Officer and Medical Officer (Dental) posts under the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The announcement came on Saturday, September 5. It follows a road blockade in different parts of Tripura that has disrupted normal movement and caused public inconvenience.

Two Recruitment Exams Deferred

The examination relates to Advertisement No. 23/2025, dated July 24, 2025.

The Commission has also postponed the written examination for Medical Officer (Dental), Grade-IV of TDS, Group-A Gazetted. The recruitment process relates to Advertisement No. 26/2025, dated August 28, 2025.

Both examinations were scheduled for September 6.

Revised Schedule to Be Announced

TPSC Secretary S Mog, IAS, issued the notification on behalf of the Commission.

Candidates should therefore avoid relying on unofficial dates or social media posts. They should follow only the official TPSC notification for the revised schedule.

What Candidates Need to Know
