BJP to come out with Vision Document in Assam
Guwahati Dec 26: In Assam, the BJP will come out with a Vision Document 2016-2021 in Assam for next year’s Assembly election, through a participatory dialogue process.
Announcing this in Guwahati Dec 26, state BJP president and Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that It is an endeavour to involve all sections of people in the nation-building process.
He said dialogues will be held at five locations across the state and sub-dialogues will be arranged at certain other areas to ensure greater reach of this endeavour and people’s participation.
BJP leader Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma said the Vision Document will be prepared by an NGO floated for this purpose, Assam Nirman Foundation, which has senior BJP leader Ram Madhav as its advisor and Sonowal as its patron.
He said the Foundation will hold a series of six sessions at Guwahati, Jorhat, Nalbari, Tezpur and Silchar from January 21 next and end the process by mid-February. (With inputs from AIR News)
