Agartala, April 25, 2019: Jawans of Assam Rifles in Tripura, as part of its endeavour to spread awareness in the common masses in remote areas, conducted workshop on Malaria and it’s Prevention at Baiganfa SB school, Gandachara and Dasda Degree College , Kanchanpur on World Malaria Day. Assam Rifles sources said this today.
Total 246 students & 45 locals were benefited from the educative workshop.
Malaria has been one of the major life threatening fever and Gandacherra Sub Division under Dhalai district and Kanchanpur Sub division under North Tripura district are two of the worst affected areas in Tripura. People were informed about reasons of spread including mosquito breeding and measures to prevent the same.
The genuine approach of Assam Rifles to spread health awareness in remote areas was applauded by all.
