Agartala, March 13, 2020: In a gruesome incident, half-charred dead body of a 22-years old young girl had been spotted at an open field, just a few hundred meters away from her residence this morning at Rangacherra under Mohanpur subdivision of West Tripura district. In a separate incident, one young house wife was found dead along with her two kids at Shamukhchhera area in Gomati District today.

In both the incident Police started investigation. In the first case, Police was successful in arresting one person and in the second case, Police is interrogating husband of the deceased young wife.

Horrific death of a female teacher

After recovering the half-burnt body of the girl, a teacher by profession, Police said, it seems that the girl was in a relationship with someone, which might be the reason of her death.

Speaking to media, SDPO Mohanpur Kamal Bikash Majumder said, “Police is trying to find out as to whether it was a suicide or a homicide. As per as the initial investigation, all the evidences are indicating towards suicide due to love failure. Whereas, we are not also ruling out the possibility of murder; investigation is underway the truth would absolutely be prevailed”.

On being asked the time of death, the police officer said, the body has been spotted this morning near a brick kiln field in Rangacherra. The police rushed to the spot after being informed by the locals and recovered the body. As of our anticipation, the girl might have died last night, he added.

One of her relatives said, she left home last evening informing that she would do photocopy of some of her documents, but never returned. A missing complaint was lodged in the local police station last night.

Meanwhile, some of the local sources while speaking to media said, last evening electricity connection remained snapped for a couple of hours in the area and the incident might have taken place during that period.  One person identified as Sourabh Paul had been arrested just after the incident.

A team of Mahila Morcha – women wing of BJP – leaders under the leadership of its state president Papiya Datta rushed to the residence of the deceased. The women leaders condemned the incident and asked for capital punishment of the culprits.

Mysterious death of three

In another incident, three members of a family including two children were found dead at Madhya Para village under Shamukchhera in Gomati district today. Local sources said, one Andulan Debbarma found his wife Jamuna Debbarma (24) and two kids Jaba Debbarma (7) and Ankush Debbarma (4) dead after returning from works. Police led by SDPO Dhruba Nath visited the spot and started investigation. According to Andulan Debbarma, all the three consume pesticide and collapsed. Police are interrogating Andulan.
