A Covid 19 infected patient who had been cured after treatment committed suicide few yards away of his residence in Agartala on Thursday.
The deceased returned from Delhi a month ago and was found to be positive to the Covid 19. He had later undergone treatment and was released from hospital.
However, he was found hanging in a tree located few yards away from his residence today.
Speaking on the issue, the father in law of the deceased said, his son-in-law went to Delhi in search of decent work. He also got a job with respectable salary at Delhi airport. But, the sudden strike of Covid 19 across the country forced him to lose his job and return to his homeland.
The youth, who hailed from Indranagar area of Agartala, found Covid19 positive after his swab samples were collected on return. He had also recovered from the disease.
His father in law also said that his attitude was changed altogether and he used to remain silent all the time after he reached home. His in-law’s also claimed that there was no family related trouble or mental pressure on him. The dead body and sent for autopsy.
