A Tripura Teacher is one of the 47 teachers across the country got the “National Teachers’ Award’. Sanjay Das, assistant Headmaster of Tillabazar HS School, Kailashahar under Unakoti district in Tripura has been awarded the national teachers’ award for his exemplary contribution to this field.
The Tripura teacher Sanjay Das, a Chemistry graduate, had later chosen Education as a postgraduate subject. He also completed BEd and MEd. He had been teaching in Tillabazar school for quite a few years.
For his efforts, Tillabazar HS School was recently empaneled as one of the schools which were selected to be turned into English Medium schools. Das had been among the five teachers of North East who had been awarded with the prestigious national award. Altogether, 47 teachers across the country got the award.
