The devotees from any corner of the world can now have a Darshan of Mata Tripura Sundari – one of the 51 Shakti pithas – without physically visiting the Temple at Matabari in Tripura.
The state government has come out with an innovative idea so that the devotees can have a virtual darshan of Mata Tripura Sundari through online facilities.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has on Saturday launched the web portal of Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Trust at Civil Secretariat, Agartala allowing virtual darshan of the Maa.
Now, the devotees from any corner of the world can Darshan Mata Tripura Sundari live through this portal from 11.30 am to 1 pm every day. The portal will also enable the devotees for donation.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that the Union Ministry of Tourism had sanctioned Rs. 38 crore for the development of Mata Tripura Sundari Temple and its adjacent areas in Udaipur.
He said the sanctioned fund would be utilized for constructing an over bridge connecting the Udaipur railway station to main road, illumination and arrangement of drinking water.
He also invited the people across the world to visit Mata Tripura Sundari Temple.
BJP Tripura Prabhari offers puja to Tripura Sundari
Newly appointed BJP State Prabhari Vinod Sonkar offered prayer and puja at Tripura Sundari Temple on Saturday. After arriving in the city, he travelled to Matabari to offer puja at the Temple – one of the 51 Shakti pithas.
A large motor rally welcomed him at Bagma and accompanied Sonkar to Matabari. BJP State president Dr Manik Saha, BJP State General Secretary Papiya Datta and other leaders were present at the temple while Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy formally greeted him at the Tripureswari Temple. After offering puja, Sonkar visited Shiva temple and went to Kalyan Sagar.
Enthusiasm among the party supporters and activists were palpable over the visit of Prabhari Sonkar.
