The Youth Wing of Jampui Hill Mizo Convention greatly appreciate and support the effort of the Central Government in helping the farmers through the introduction of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. However, it is disheartening to see that the Central Government chooses Christmas Day, the day revered by Christians as holy in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Instead of organising PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on Christmas Day, it is our wish and expectation to see our Hon’ble Prime Minister greeting Christians of our nation on this Chistmas Day and join the nation’s Christians in celebrating and observing this sacred Day. This will send a positive message to one and all that we are a secular country.
