On the first Sunday of New Year, Tripura Governor Ramesh Bais along with First Lady Ramabai Bais and close relatives visited Barmura Hatai Katar Eco Park today. The Governor walked down the ecopark and enoyed his time amidst nature’s grandeur.
He alongwith his family members spent their time enjoying pristine beauty of green nature, bamboo craft show rooms and log houses. During his visit, Ramesh Bai, apart from his family memebers, was accompained by the Khowai DM, SP and other dignitaries
Sharing his experience, the Governor said, Tripura is gifted with abundant scenc beauty. Tripura Government in tandem with the Tourism Development is working to nurture and develop the tourists’ spots to attract more tourists.
Development of Tourism is a priority for the incumbent Government and the Government is relentlessly working to upgrade facilities at tourists spots, he said.
The Governor also said, Tripura would become an entry-gate to Northeastern States – this would pave way for more tourists.
Notably, the State Government already implemented several new initiatives to make tourist spot more attractives in post Covid situation. Recently adventure tourism was introduced at Chabimura which is expected to attract out-State tourists. The destination has already become an instant hit with local tourists.
During post-Covid19 situation, local tourists and picnic parties are venturing out and crowding popular picnic and tourist spots. Tripureswari Temple, Neermahal and Sepahijala sanctuary are some of most crowded spots.
