Ambassa Police Station has emerged as “Best Police Station” while West Tripura has adjudged as the Best District for Beat Policing.
Tripura Police has announced the recipients of various awards for the year- 2020. The awards will be handed over during the Police Week programme at A.D. Nagar police line.
As per the list, Chandan Saha, SDPO Kailashahar, Unakoti district, has been selected for ‘Policeman of the year-2020’ award while Ramfanmawii (WSI-UB), West Tripura district has been selected for the award of ‘Best Investigator’.
Ambassa police station in Dhalai district has been adjudged as ‘Best Police Station’ while West Tripura district bagged the ‘Best District for Beat System’ award. Meanwhile, Kakraban police station has been adjudged as ‘Best Police Station for Beat System’.
Jiban Majumder, Clerk of SB Organization, has been announced as ‘Best Clerical Staff of the year- 2020’ while 10th-Bn TSR bagged the ‘Best TSR Battalion’ award.
In the meantime, another list of 33 policemen, who have been selected for DG’s Commendation Disc for the year-2020, has been released by the Tripura Police. The list included R.G.K. Rao, DIGP Crime Branch, Ajit Pratap Singh, SP Cyber Crime, and Sudipta Das AIGP (HQ and Establishment), PHQ.
