The BJP-IPFT government in Tripura is so efficient that it meets the demand of the common people of the State, even before people raise demand for something.

Chief Whip of Tripura State Assembly Kalyani Roy said this at Ampi Choumuhani in Teliamura on Wednesday. She was speaking at a public meeting held to mark the completion of three years of the BJP-IPFT Government in the State.

BJP-Tripura-AssemblyBJP supporters, from different parts of Teliamura, took part in the programme. Apart from Kalyani Roy, BJP State secretary Tinku Roy, MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury and local leaders were also present in the programme.

Addressing the supporters, Kalyani Roy highlighted the pro-people attitude of the State Government and hailed the Deb-led Government for implementing projects for welfare of people.

“The State Government is launching welfare programmes keeping in mind the needs of the people. This proactive role of the Government is benefitting the people in a great extent”, Roy commented.

She also mentioned several projects, like an electric furnace for Teliamura crematorium, modernized Motor Stand facility, for which works have started.

In his speech, Tinku Roy blamed CPM on development works. He said, CPM leaders used the term development in their speeches only, however, in reality, the State was in a precarious condition. At present, development works are going on across the State.

MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury also spoke on the occasion and criticized the previous Left Front Government.
