In view of the COVID19 threat, the state government has postponed the scheduled examinations of Class- III to IX and XI as well as TRBT-conducted selection tests for recruitment of teachers.
“All examinations scheduled earlier from Class- III to IX and XII shall be treated as postponed w.e.f. 26/04/2021 until further orders,” a notification from the School Education department said.
However, the Education department didn’t bring any change in the schedule for pre-Board examinations of Class- X and XII. Besides, there is no decision on the on-going examinations of college students though there is a strong demand among the guardians for deferring the college examinations.
The Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT), in its notification said, the selection tests for Graduate and Post-Graduate Teachers scheduled on May 2 and May 8 respectively have been postponed following the recent spurt in COVID19 cases.
“……the Selection Test for Graduate Teacher-2020 (STGT¬2020) & Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher-2020 (STPGT-2020) with reference to the Advertisement No 2/2020 dated: 27/ 11/ 2020 by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura under Education (School) Department, Govt. of Tripura Scheduled to be held on 2nd May, 2021(Sunday) & 8th May, 2021 (Saturday) respectively is hereby postponed until further orders,” the notification said.
