Curtains were drawn on the Karyakarini (working committee) meeting of Tripura Pradesh BJP in Agartala on Monday.
The meeting was held in semi online mode. Sangathan Mantri of BJP, Phanindranath Sharma, Chief Ministe Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma and State BJP president Dr Manik Saha were present in the meeting while district leaders attended the proceedings through online.
Commenting on the meeting, Biplab Kumar Deb made three detailed social media posts through which he urged all the leaders and Karyakartas to follow a “3S” mantra to strengthen the organization at every level. Clarifying further, Deb said, “3S” are Sambad, Swabhab and Sadachar.
“If we can realize the essence of “3S” and go to people, BJP would remain in power in Tripura for a long time”, Deb said.
Referring to the Prime Minister, Deb said Tripura is striding forward in primary sector following the path advocated by the Prime Minister. In this connection he also mentioned about initiatives for doubling farmers’ earnings by 2022, PM Kisan Nidhi scheme, paddy procurement by the State Government etc. He thanked the Prime Minister for releasing adequate funds for holistic development of farmers.
Deb also took a jibe at previous LF government for its failure to procure paddy at MSP from farmers and said, leftists make tall talks on farmers’ issue, however, they failed to take a single farmer to Delhi in support of farmers’ agitation. Leftists failed because farmers of the State are getting support from the Government for producing crops and so, reaping benefits.
Besides, he also pointed out that second most influential Minister of the previous LF Government and erstwhile CS had to be put in jail because of corruption, but no such things happened with the BJP even though the rise of the saffron party from Opposition to the power took little time.
