The governance has been freed from the clutches of political interference by the incumbent Government in Tripura. People need to be acquainted with this policy shift to make the governance more transparent. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said while addressing organizational programme at ward no- 25 of his constituency- Banamalipur in Agartala on Sunday.

 

Referring administrative functioning, Deb said, the ‘Single Window System’ has ensured speed and simplification to the delivery of different services. Besides, the government has accorded priority in selecting beneficiaries with transparency without considering one’s political affiliation.  

 

Mentioning the pandemic situation, Deb said, apart from normal life, the development activities of the government were also affected by the Corona pandemic. But, the works had already started for quick implementation of various plans following decision and management.

 

He said the people got rid of cadre-raj, culture of extortion and commission business following zero tolerance of the BJP-IPFT government.

 

Speaking on organizational matters, Deb reiterated, “The Pristha Pramukhs and strong booths are the foundation of the organization.”

 

While encouraging the Karyakartas to work with dedication for the welfare of people, Deb said positive mentality of leaders is reflected on the people.  

 

The Chief Minister, however pointed out that some attempts were being made to misguide the people and tarnish the image of the government. In that case, he made an appeal to the party workers to address such attempts wisely by utilizing their experiences and create mass awakening. He also stressed on building smooth relations with the public.
