A consignment of Oxygen plants which was airlifted by the IAF arrived in Agartala on Friday.
Even as Covid threat is much less menacing in Tripura at present, the Tripura Government is continuing its policy to upgrade the Health care delivery system.
The Tripura Government decided, few months ago, to install Oxygen plants in Hospitals to ensure that patients get adequate supply of oxygen in case of medical exigencies.
As part of the plan, consignments of Oxygen Plants reached Agartala on Friday. These Oxygen Plants will be in installed Khumulwng Hospital under West Tripura and Udaipur Hospital under Gomati District.
In a tweet, Chief Secretary of Tripura Kumar Alok wrote, “Oxygen plants airlifted by Indian Air Force (IAF) for installation at Kherengbar Hospital (in) Khumlwng and Tripura Sundari Hospital (in) Udaipur.
In the same tweet, the Chief Secretary revealed, “22 Oxygen plants will be commissioned on 7th October 2021. Hon’ble PM will dedicate a large number of plants to the nation on 7th (Oct).”
