Chief Justice of High Court of Tripura, Indrajit Mahanty stressed the importance of justice delivery to the people. He appreciated the roles of Justice Subhashish Talapatra and Justice Arindam Lodh in arranging the NALSA programme here recently.
Justice Mahanty was addressing a programme at the High Court auditorium on Wednesday. The programme was held to felicitate Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanty and Justice T Amarnath Goud who recently joined the High Court of Tripura after being transferred from other states.
In his speech, the Chief Justice appreciated the talents available in the State and highlighted the country’s richness in its heritage and diversity.
Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanty and Justice T Amarnath Goud were felicitated by the Tripura High Court Employees Association at the High Court auditorium on Wednesday.
Three other Judges of the High Court of Tripura, Justices Subhashish Talapatra, Arindam Lodh and SG Chattopadhyay were also present.
Justice Mahanty shared an incident where he had met Justice Goud on his birthday at Tirupati temple in recent past and now both are entrusted with the task to serve the land of Maa Tripurasundari. Speaking on the occasion, Justice Goud also expressed his happiness and love for Tripura.
Welcome address was delivered by High Court Employees Association (HCEA) president Rajib Sengupta while HCEA Secretary Biplab Chakraborty handed over the token gifts to the Chief Justice and Justice Goud and uttariya too. Krishnadhan Debnath hosted the event.
All the officials and staffers of the High Court were present on the occasion.
