Nadda likely to visit Tripura this month
If everything goes as per the plan, BJP chief J.P. Nadda will arrive in Tripura this month.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb accompanied by BJP state president Dr. Manik Saha met him in New Delhi on Friday. They invited the BJP national president to visit Tripura to celebrate the thumping victory of the party in the recent civic body polls.
Nadda is expected to take part in a Karyakarini meet with all 329 newly-elected BJP councillors as well as hold meetings with the state leadership.
According to sources, the arrival of the BJP chief in the state assumes importance since the party will start preliminary preparations and intensify organizational activities for the 2023 assembly polls.
CM to address victory rally at Sabroom
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate the Gita recitation and Santi Yagna programme in Sabroom on Sunday. The programmes have been arranged as part of celebration of BJP’s Victory in recent Civic Body polls.
According to the source, more than 50 saints from the State and other states as well as from Bangladesh will join the Gita recitation and Santi Yagna programmes at Daityeshwari Kalibari in Sabroom tomorrow.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate both the programme.
Later, Deb will address a victory rally organized by the BJP Sabroom unit to mark the massive victory Sabroom Nagar Panchayat elections as well as other Civic Body polls in the State.
Deb who is in New Delhi, will arrive in the State tomorrow and move to Sabroom to attend the programmes there. Meanwhile, all the frontal organization of the party have launched campaign to make the victory rally a grand success.
