3 security personnel killed in a militant attack in Kashmir

ProMASS News Bureau: Aug 17, 2016: Three security force personnel, including 2 Army personnel and 1 cop have been martyred while 3 other security personnel have been injured in a militant attack in Baramulla district of Kashmir. Militants ambushed an army convoy at Khwajabagh in Baramulla at 2.30 am.  A massive operation has been launched to track down the attackers, who fled the spot.

Meanwhile, Army Chief General Dalbir Singh will visit Jammu and Kashmir 16 Corps Headquarters at Nagrota in Jammu to hold review meeting on internal security today. The visit comes against the backdrop of ongoing unrest in the Kashmir Valley.  After the meeting with commanders in the region, he will fly back in the evening.
