The Tripura  Government is working to set up Sainik schools in the state in consonance with the Government’s relentless effort for further improvement in the field of education, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday.

He said, “Steps have been initiated to set up Sainik School in the State to instill patriotism and professionalism among the students.”

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb made the comment while visiting three different TSR Company HQs and Company Platoon in Sepahijala district on Friday. He visited Jampuijala TSR battalion headquarters, Belbari TSR Camp, Briddhibazar TSR Camp and Gamanbazar TSR Camp.

During his visit, Deb attended a Sainik Sammelan and interacted with the jawans. Later Deb in a social media post wrote that he had discussed the issues being faced by the TSR personnel and assured them all support from the state government.

He also tweeted, “Got a chance to have a meal with TSR personnel & visit the blood donation camp organized there. Glad to see our brave jawans doing noble causes along with serving the people of the state. I am thankful to our Tripura State Rifles personnel for serving the people outside the state as well, whenever called upon. Best wishes to them”.

Besides, the Chief Minister also attended a party programme Shyamnagar Gangthakur Bazar under Golaghati Assembly constituency today.

Addressing the supporters Deb said, “Once neglected from development, women of indigenous communities have now found their way to economic prosperity through the policies of state govt. Glad to meet with Gopishwari Jamatia Ji, financially self-dependent women & a unique example of the economic upliftment of women”.

He also said, People are appreciating the developmental works being done by the #Tripura govt under the guidance of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji. Today, 821 people from 210 families in Shyamnagar Para of Golaghati Mandal joined the @BJP4Tripura organization.
