629.52 MT Paddy procured at MSP in Bamutia
From January 27 to February 1, paddy was procured from the farmers at Minimum Support Price at the school ground of Berimura Higher Secondary School in Bamutia block with the joint initiative of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare department. In six days, 629.52 MT paddy was procured from 340 farmers at Rs. 19.40/- per kilogram. This was informed by Mohanpur Food Inspector Sanjib Debbarma.
80 farmers brought under PMFBY in Laliuri block
In the present financial year, 80 farmers of Laljuri block under Kanchanpur sub-division were brought under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Among them, 6 farmers were from Rabindra Nagar village, 6 farmers were from Makumcherra village, 34 farmers were from Subhash Nagar village, 6 farmers were from Kanchanpur village, 7 farmers were from South Laljuri village, 21 farmers were from Shibnagar village were brought under the scheme. Besides that, 12 farmers of Laljuri block were brought under the scheme for Boro Paddy cultivation. This was informed by Kanchanpur sub-divisional Agricultural Superintendent office.
Review meeting at Gachiram PHC
A special review meeting was held at the conference hall of Gachiram Primary Health Centre under North Tripura district on February 2. Routine vaccination, Covid-19 vaccination, detection of TB, Asthma and Cancer including the work plans of all schemes of National Health Mission were reviewed in the meeting. Medical Officer In-charge of the Health Centre and other health staffs, CMO of North Tripura district Dr. Arunabh Chakraborty, Kanchanpur SDMO Dr. Alok Dewan were present in the meeting.
