Entrepreneurial initiatives in Tripura for self-reliance are set to get a major boost, as one of the Startups of the State has been selected to participate in International Expo at Dubai.
Addressing a press conference in Agartala, chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) Tinku Roy on Monday told the media, “iLogitron Technologies Pvt. Ltd – a Startup of Tripura has been selected for taking part in the World Expo at Dubai. This is a prestigious achievement for the state. This organization manufactured two devices using the modern technology on Water and Power conservation. Both the devices are very much relevant in the present context”.
Among others cofounders of the Startup, Abhishek Dhar and Debashish Dhar were also present.
He also said two members of the iLogitron Pvt Ltd will attend the expo with the assistance of the State government. Both the delegates left the State for Dubai on Monday evening.
Wishing good luck to iLogitron, Tinku Roy said the production in every sector is increasing which is contributing in increasing the export. In 2018-19, total export volumn stood at Rs 8-9 crore which reached around Rs 200 crore in recent time.
The cofounders of the organization hailed the cooperation and assistance of the State government in setting up and gaining momentum in the production of innovative products. Both Abhishek Dhar and Debashish Dhar detailed the functioning of the two devices for which they were selected to attend the expo.
According to them, a total of 32 Startups from India including iLogitron were selected for the Dubai expo. This Expo started in Dubai from October 1, 2021 and will continue till March 31, 2022. The theme of the expo is Connecting Minds, Creating the future. The sub-themes are Opportunity, Mobility and sustainability.
Abhishek Dhar told the media that the device for Water conservation has been made using bamboo of Tripura to make it an eco-friendly product.
