The leaders and activists of BJP in Tripura BJP burst into celebration for the party’s victories in Assembly polls of four States – Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. As the party took a comfortable lead during the counting of votes, party supporters assembled in different places and started rejoicing across the State.
Holi started early for the BJP activists as clearer picture of results started pouring in. The jubilant BJP supporters in Tripura started bursting firecrackers, exchanging sweets and dancing with the beats of drums.
The rallies celebrating the victories were brought out in almost all parts of the BJP-ruled Tripura. In Agartala, BJP state president Dr. Manik Saha led a victory rally in Agartala.
The Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and BJP state president Dr. Manik Saha and other leaders including Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik hailed the party’s win and congratulated the people of the four states for their support towards the party.
In Udaipur, led by Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Rampada Jamatia and other leaders, BJP brought out ‘Vijoy Padayatra’ to congratulating the people of the four states where BJP registered victories. Supporters sprinkled saffron colour abir on each other and chanted slogans hailing the Prime Minister, the UP Chief Minister and also Chief Minister of Biplab Kumar Deb.
In Dharmanagar, BJP supporters were flashing victory signs. Drum beatings added festive flavor. Exalted party leaders and activists brought out a rally in celebration.
Speaking to the media, president of BJP North District, Malina Debnath said the government’s relentless works for the welfare of financially weak people of the country have been reflected in polling.
“Both the Central and State governments are working for not only the poor people but also the women, the backward classes and the tribes – all sections of society. This victory of BJP in four States would continue in Tripura in 2023”, Debnath commented.
The jovial mood among the saffron party workers and leaders prevailed in other parts of the State as well.
