The state government is working on priority basis for the overall development of the state including improving quality of socio-economic living till the remote areas of the state, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb after inaugurating new block building of Ambassa RD Block on Friday.
Deb said, successfully providing all kinds of services to the last person of the society and ensuring citizen right is priority area for the government. Progress has been made in the development of civic service delivery infrastructure in order to achieve this goal.
One of the reasons for the unequal distribution of development is reluctance towards overall development of the state including the tribal areas.
Instead of keeping the citizens busy in movements for their demands, the incumbent government is taking necessary steps to solve various problems. With the sincerity of both the central and state governments, Tripura is gradually moving ahead successfully.
Transparency has been brought in services and implementation of schemes rising above narrowness practised in the past days.
The Chief Minister said, overall development in the state as well as the whole Northeast has gained momentum with the sincere vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bunch of plans are being successfully implemented such as infrastructure improvement, improved roads etc. to build Tripura into a best state.
Women are now finding their path to prosperity as several plans have been taken to empower them including 33% reservation for women in recruitment. A total of Rs 1300 crore package is taking a vital role in improving socio-economic quality of living of the tribals.
Development plans are being successfully implemented in different areas and regions which were neglected before. Besides that, modernization of Dumboor tourist spot has increased tourist visits leading to economic prosperity of the state.
