Unrest in Valley: Opposition leaders from J&K meet President

ProMASS News Bureau: Aug 20, 2016: National Conference leader Omar Abdullah today said, solution to the ongoing situation in Kashmir should be found politically. He said trouble in the Valley is spreading to other parts of the state. Mr Abdullah was speaking after a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir opposition parties met President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi to apprise him of the situation prevailing in the state. Mr Abdullah said they submitted a memorandum to the President. He said for the first time in history, the initiatives that should have been taken up by the government are being taken by opposition.
