National president of BJP Yuva Morcha Tejasvi Surya held an organizational meeting with State BJYM functionaries in Agartala on Wednesday (Dec 21) and stressed on extensive outreach programme highlighting the achievements of the double engine government.
“We discussed the prevailing situation in Tripura and chalked out strategies in view of the ensuing polls. All the BJYM Karyakartas will take part in extensive campaigning and reach out to each family under all the booths to make the voters aware on the benefits of double-engine government and how the party is working for the welfare of youths”, Tejasvi Surya told the reporters at the State Guest House in Agartala today.
Surya arrived in Agartala in a two-day State visit today and he was accord a grand reception followed by a bike rally. State president of BJYM Nabadal Banik and other leaders welcome Surya at the airport. He addressed the BJYM supporters at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala today and highlighted the importance of party’s Yuva Morcha in forming the next BJP-led Government in Tripura.
Taking part in the BJYM Tripura State Executive meeting today, Surya hailed the ‘enthusiasm and commitment’ of Yuva Morcha activists of the State to the party and to the people during the Covid pandemic and flood situations and termed it as inspiring.
Surya also said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tripura has seen immense development and is one of the most named states of the northeast”.
“Only the BJP can take the state to the highest level in terms of holistic development, in particular for the youth generation”, he added.
In a tweet, he appealed to BJYM karyakartas to popularize transformation of the State under PM Sri @narendramodiJi’s governance.
Later, Surya went to Maa Tripureswari Temple in Udaipur under Gomati district and offered puja. He also addressed a mass gathering under the banner of ‘Yuva Vijay Sankalp Rally’ at Chandrapur Higher Secondary School ground in Udaipur. In his speech, Surya focused on the progress and development over the past eight years in the country and 4.8 years of BJP rule in Tripura.
After returning from Udaipur, Surya attended a new voters’ felicitation programme at Bamutia.
On the 2nd and last day of his maiden Tripura visit, Surya will attend a series of programmes in the State.
