Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar inaugurated a Photography Exhibition on Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) at Ujjayanta Palace today.
After inaugurating the Photography Exhibition, the Chief Election Commissioner of India along with a complete team of Election Commission has participated in a programme at the premises of Ujjayanta Palace.
Voter ID cards were handed over to Divyangjans and new voters in the programme. Besides, senior voters were felicitated.
Dignitaries present there were Election Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey, Arun Goyal, senior Deputy Election Commissioner Dharma Sharma, Nitesh Vyas, Hridesh Kumar, Manoj Sahoo and Director General Shephali B. Sharan.
The Chief Election Commissioner of India had administered the oath to all. The programme was followed by a theme song on SVEEP and Kokborok patriotic song performed by state artistes. A vote of Thanks was delivered by Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Gitte.
