ProMASS News Bureau: Agartala: Sep 03, 2016: Agartala today has witnessed several political activities organized by Tribal Students’ Union (TSU), a frontal organization of ruling CPI-M and State unit of Congress.
Supporters of TSU have staged a protest rally in Agartala today against alleged molestation of a tribal student of Tripura University by an Engineer. Large number of students under TSU, a frontal organization of ruling CPI-M marched through city roads and raised slogan demanding exemplary action against the alleged offender. After the rally, a delegation submitted a memorandum to Women Police of West Thana, Agartala.
State Unit of Congress today has organized a rally in Agartala and burnt an effigy of PM Narendra Modi. Launching verbal attack against Modi-led NDA Govt., Congress Leaders have referred to huge price hike and plight of the common people. BJP came to power assuring Acche Din, however, there is no sign of improvement in lives of common people, said Congress Leaders.
